The Tomb Is Empty

After Jesus was crucified and laid in the tomb, his disciples lost hope that he was the Messiah. After three long days, there was a total surprise as the women first arrived at the empty tomb. There was no sign of Jesus anywhere. Then they saw two men who asked them a powerful question, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?” This could only mean one thing. Jesus had risen! If the tomb was empty then, that means he is alive today. You have an ever-present help in Jesus because he overcame the grave.
