What did God design me to do? Sometimes we ponder that question wondering if there's a way to find out. First off, we'd encourage you to seek time in prayer asking God "what plans do you have for me?". Secondly, take some time and jot down some of your passions, things you love to do, areas that excite you. They may not seem church related at first glance, but God does use your natural joys to help him reach his people. If you'd like to dive deeper, feel free to take an online spiritual gifts test. God has a way of launching new opportunities out of his people!

How do I volunteer?
You'd like to get involved, but you're not quite sure where. There are various ways to be involved at The NC, I'm sure you'll find a place. Think about what you're passionate about, that's a good place to start. When you're ready, chat with Maggie Najera, she would love to help you find your spot. She'll chat with you about your gifts and abilities, share upcoming NC projects, and help point you to the right staff person.
How do I volunteer with kids?
We love energetic, smiling, loving people who have a heart to love on kids and share Jesus with them. Our mindset is that it's more about Jesus than following a set a rules. We want kids to feel valued. Babies, preschoolers, elementary kids, and media, there are many opportunities. At The NC we want to provide the utmost care for our children and do require a background check for adult volunteers. Chat with Pastor Angie and she can share with you her heart and find you just the right spot in kids ministry.
How do I volunteer with music?
Our music ministry is always looking for individuals with a heart for Jesus and desire to worship. Whether you're a musician, singer, or media person we want to help you grow in your craft and express yourself through worship. Chat with Greg or Nate and they'll take some time to get to know your heart, see where your skills are, and place you in just the right spot for success. You'll get going in no time.

Students need people to speak into their lives. They are growing up and facing all kinds of choices. Having the right people to be a voice to them, could make all the difference. We have various opportunities to get involved: our music ministry, teaching team, and small group leaders, are just the start.
