Grace and Truth: A Journey through Romans pt. 3

The Book of Romans tells us that we can't save ourselves. No matter how good we've been, it's all like dirt to God. We're so messed up that only God's grace and mercy can save us. God showed us His mercy by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for us. When we give our lives to Christ, we're no longer controlled by our sinful nature, but we're controlled by the Spirit. If we confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that He was raised from the dead, we're saved, born again. We need to live our lives as a living sacrifice to God. Worshipping the God who saved us should be our top priority. Maybe the best way to apply Romans is to take Romans 1:16 and not be ashamed of the gospel. Instead, let's all be faithful in making Jesus famous.
