The Gospel Story - The End

This is the final week in the series. In the last month or so, we’ve been recapping and applying “The Story of the Gospel” piece by piece. Now we circle back around to the beginning of the story. God’s original intention for humanity will eventually be fulfilled. Notice, too, the similarities between the first couple of chapters in Genesis and these last two chapters in Revelation—particularly the Tree of Life (22:2). This promise not only gives us hope for a future but also empowers us in the present. We see where history is headed, and we can be a part of the good that is to come in God’s kingdom. In light of the new heavens and the new earth, no sacrifice is too big. The Story of the universe is grand and beautiful, and we get to be a part of it.
